Important Privacy Information


The purpose of this data collection is to enable participation in the application process at Stadler Deutschland GmbH


1. Raised and required information


By applying electronically for open positions at Stadler Deutschland GmbH via this website, you are required to register as a user by entering your e-mail address and a password. Additionally, we need some mandatory personal information marked with an asterisk (*).


2. Use of your data


During the application process, the usual correspondence data such as title, name, first name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and all documents which have been attached to your application are stored in the applicant management tool.

The processing of this data occurs exclusively within the scope of your application process at Stadler Deutschland GmbH.

This data will only be stored, evaluated, processed or forwarded internally as part of your application. While the data may be processed for statistical purposes (e.g., reporting), none of the collected data can be used to identify an individual person.


3. Consent


Through your online registration you provide the company with your personal data linked with a specific application for the purpose of seeking employment. The legal basis for processing this data is your consent under art. 6. par. 1 EU GDPR in connection with sec. 26 par. 2 BDSG.

You can revoke your consent with future effect at any time without having to give reason. Furthermore, you can delete your applicant account and all data connected with it.


4. Access to your data


Only employees of the Stadler Deutschland GmbH are able to access your data. These can be represented through the following group:

a) HR Department
b) departments concerned
c) employee representative committee
d) other group locations of the Stadler Rail Group, if you have expressly consented to this transfer

By no means will your data be passed on others outside the Stadler Rail Group or used for any other purposes.


5. Privacy and Confidentiality


Data privacy is important to us. Stadler Deutschland GmbH and the software provider have taken the necessary organizational and technical measures to ensure the confidentiality of your application.

All employees, from Stadler Deutschland GmbH HR and the software-provider, are sensitized to data protection and security as well as obliged to maintain secrecy about the processing of personal data as part of their employment contract.

An automatically activated 128bit encryption ensures secure transmission of your data. Data processing takes place according to general data security standards, in accordance with current state of the art technology as well as current legal basis.


6. Duration of storage


In the case of an employment relationship between you and the Stadler Deutschland GmbH - following the application process - your data will be included in your personnel file.

Should the application process not result in an employment relationship between you and the Stadler Deutschland GmbH then your data will be deleted no later than three month after completion of the application process, unless you have expressly consented to further storage and use as part of, for example, our talent pool.

You have, at any time, the right to gain knowledge of the data stored concerning your person as well as the right to correct, delete and restrict the processing of your personal data. The right of processing with restriction can be put in place of the right to erase, if the deletion of data is in conflict with legal storage requirements or legitimate interest of the company. These can especially arise within the application process from the provisions of the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). Furthermore, you have the right to data portability. You may revoke your consent at any time (see point 3. Consent).

At any time, you are able to access your electronic data within the applicant database. Here you can edit and even delete your personal information.

Alternatively or additionally, you may address your information request to the HR department.

In addition, you always have the right to approach regulatory authorities with further requests or complaints.


In order to take part in the application process we require personal data. Exercising your right to delete, restrict or oppose to processing can eliminate you from further participation in the application process.
